Together, we create a strong community where no one is left behind—and every helping hand makes a difference.

We Are Non Profit Organization

Our Story: Established by Late Sardar Shri Dayal Singh Saluja, Prerna Seva Trust emerged from a simple act of kindness—distributing free medicines and food to needy patients. Since June 7, 1994, the trust has grown into a full-fledged humanitarian organization. Officially registered in May 2001 under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Act, the Trust operates from “Rain Basera Bhawan” within Hamidia Hospital’s campus in Bhopal.

Mission: To deliver compassionate, timely, and inclusive support to downtrodden patients and their caretakers, easing their burden during medical crises.

A society where access to basic medical support is not a privilege, but a universal right.To build a compassionate and inclusive society where no patient suffers due to lack of funds. It is imperative that every suffering individual receives care, dignity, medical aid and support of the society during their time of need.

Prerna Seva Trust

With this principle as his life’s purpose, the founder of Prerna Seva Trust and exemplary humanitarian, Late Sardar Shri Dayal Singh Saluja, began serving the poor and needy patients at the Government Hamidia Hospital, affiliated with Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, on June 7, 1994. Inspired by his spirit of service, Prerna Seva Trust was formally established in May 2001 to carry forward this noble cause in an organized manner. The trust comprises selfless and devoted individuals. 

Registration and Location:

– Registered under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Act
– Registration number: 19/2000-2001
– Office location: “Rain Basera Bhawan,” within the premises of Gandhi Medical College and Hamidia Hospital, Bhopal.
Main objective: To serve helpless and impoverished patients and their attendants receiving treatment in Hamidia Hospital.

Key Activities of the Trust

Medicine Collection and Distribution : Collecting medicine samples from compassionate doctors. Purchasing and distributing affordable or free medicines to the needy.

Medical Tests for the Poor: Expensive tests (MRI, CT Scan, Thyroid, etc.) arranged for free or at subsidized rates for poor patients.

-Blood Donation Services: Annual blood donation camps and regular distribution to needy patients. Contact: Mr. Santosh Gogia (Mob. 9827047166)

Food and Tea Distribution:Daily: Tea & toast at 7:00 AM, lunch at 12:00 PM, and dinner at 5:00 PM for approx. 500 people.

Distribution of Blankets, Sheets, and Clothes:500 sweaters and 5000 blankets annually. Shoes, slippers, and clothing also provided.

Rain Basera Shelter Home: Accommodation for attendants at Rs.10/day per bed with meals and clean bedding.
Support for Disabled Patients: Distribution of crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, and artificial limbs.

Other Initiatives by the Trust:

Hot and Cold Water Arrangements: Geysers for hot water and water coolers for drinking water in summer.

Documentation Assistance: ID cards and applications for MP Disability Aid Fund.

Hospital Support Services: Heater blowers in children’s ICU, free shrouds and cremation items, free daily milk heating.

Ambulance Service: Two ambulances used to transport discharged patients or deceased individuals.

Free Stoma Bags Distribution: For patients with intestinal or urinary tract blockages due to tumors or infections.

Promotion of Organ, Body, and Eye Donation: Awareness campaigns and commitment forms are encouraged.

How You Can Support:
You can participate in various ways to support the underprivileged and suffering.
Donation Methods and Material Support:
• Daily food services including tea, lunch, dinner, fruits, and sweets can be sponsored on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or memorial days.
•Amounts may vary based on actual expenses. Donations in kind such as grains, pulses, vegetables, and spices are welcome.
Unused Medicines: Post-treatment leftover medicines can be donated before expiry.
Used Items: Usable old clothes, utensils, shoes, slippers, children’s toys, etc., can be contributed.
Blankets: Around 5000 good quality blankets are distributed every winter.
Blood Donation: Healthy individuals (age 18–60, weight >45 kg) can donate blood up to 4 times a year.
Appeal:
The scope of service is limitless, but resources are limited. These services are possible only with active support from society. The trust welcomes your assistance and participation.
