Diagnostic Test &
Assistance
We help patients access expensive medical tests like MRIs, CT scans, and thyroid profiles at no cost or discounted rates. Doctors refer deserving cases, and our volunteers coordinate with diagnostic labs to ensure quick, affordable testing for accurate medical diagnosis.
Blood Donation
Drives
We organize quarterly blood donation camps and maintain an emergency donor list. The collected blood is used for surgeries, accident victims, and emergency cases in Hamidia Hospital. Our team promotes regular blood donation as a life-saving act of community support.
Daily Meals & Service
We provide nutritious and hygienically prepared meals daily to over 500 people, including patient attendants and the homeless. Morning tea, lunch, and dinner are served with dignity, ensuring that no one goes hungry during stressful times at the hospital.
Blanket and Clothing
Each winter, we distribute over 500 sweaters, 5,000 blankets, and clothing like sarees, children’s wear, shirts, and trousers. We also provide footwear. These essentials protect the poor from the harsh cold and help them maintain dignity in appearance.
Shelter Home(Rain Basera)
For just ₹10 per day, patient attendants receive shelter, clean beds, meals, and blankets. This facility offers comfort, safety, and dignity to families who would otherwise be forced to sleep in hospital corridors or open spaces during treatment.
Disability & Support
We distribute mobility aids like wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches and help provide artificial limbs. Beneficiaries are identified through need-based assessments. This support restores independence and mobility for physically challenged patients from underprivileged backgrounds.
Ambulance & Services
Two ambulances, donated to the Trust, help the transport discharged patients or deceased individuals back to their homes free of charge. These services ensure the respectful and safe travel for the families unable to afford the commercial or emergency transport costs of ambulances.
Organ, Body & Eye Donation
We raise awareness about the importance of organ, body, and eye donation. Individuals are encouraged to pledge their donation through formal commitment. This act can save multiple lives and offers a lasting legacy of compassion and giving.
Drinking Water Supplies
At Prerna Sewa Trust, we ensure the availability of clean and safe drinking water for patients and their attendants by installing and maintaining water coolers and filters within the hospital premises. During summers, our water stations provide much-needed relief from the heat, while year-round access to purified water helps prevent waterborne diseases. This simple yet vital service supports the health, comfort, and dignity of hundreds of people every day.
E-Rickshaw Service
To ensure smoother and more compassionate care within the hospital premises, Prerna Sewa Trust operates an e-rickshaw service dedicated to transporting patients from one ward to another. This free-of-cost facility helps reduce the physical strain on patients and their attendants, especially the elderly, disabled, or critically ill. It ensures timely and safe movement within the large hospital campus, easing access to essential medical services.
