Testimonials

Even before Prerna Sewa Trust was established in 1994 with the late Shri Dayal Singh Saluja, I was dedicated to social service. In the early days, we collected donations door-to-door to support patients at Hamidia Hospital. We organized blood donation camps, helped arrange basic necessities like food and medicine, and supported critical surgeries for patients like Fahmida and Indira. The idea of forming the Trust took shape during visits to burn wards. During COVID-19, I stitched thousands of masks from home. Even today, I make sweaters and frocks for children. Service gives me deep peace, and I believe that dedicating a part of our time and resources to others brings true balance and fulfillment in life.

As a founder member of Prerna Sewa Trust, established in 1994, I have dedicated over 35 years to the field of education. I am also a counsellor and a dermatoglyphics expert—a science that explores brain function through fingerprint patterns. Social service has been my passion since childhood. My journey began when I joined Sardar Dayal Singh Saluja (Papa Ji), and since then, there has been no turning back. Over these 31 years, countless moments have left a deep impact on me—enough to fill a book. My vision is to take our services to new heights and spark a societal transformation where every individual feels inspired to support the underprivileged. We urge the fortunate to contribute—whether through resources or time—so that empathy becomes a way of life.

I am daughter-in-law of papaji. My father-in-law was the founder member and patron of prerna Sewa Trust, whose sole aim in life was to work relentlessly for the poor and the needy, even when he did not have resources, he never shyed from going door to door asking for financial help for very sick patients of hamidia hospital. With a heartful of compassion, love and sympathy papaji became a role model for the others, thus, he created a team of dedicated workers from the various strata of society who could carry his legacy. His soul resided in premises of hamidia hospital for pledged all the organs of his body to hamidia hospital and his eyes, skin and body were donated after his demise. His work is being carried forward by me as secretary of prerna Sewa Trust.

Retired from the Directorate of Census Operations, Madhya Pradesh, after decades of dedicated government service. I was honored to receive the 'Distinguished Service' award from the President of India. After retirement, I registered with the State Bar Council, Jabalpur, to continue contributing professionally. In July 2008, I began my journey with Prerna Seva Trust, inspired by Late Shri Madan Lal Surana, a founding member whose commitment deeply influenced me. His values of humility, discipline, and service became guiding principles. Presently, I serve as the Treasurer of the Trust, handling financial and accounting responsibilities with integrity and transparency. I remain connected to the Trust’s mission and inspired by its culture of selfless service and honest governance.

After retiring from the post of District Judge, I have been continuously serving in the Trust since 2018. I wanted to associate myself with an organization to serve the needy in a better way. During this search, I came across the services provided by Prerna Trust for patients and their attendants, which deeply impressed me. Since then, I have been actively involved with the Trust. The uniqueness of this Trust lies in the fact that there is no formal procedure or requirement to become a member. Anyone can come and serve, which provides a full opportunity to serve wholeheartedly.By joining this Trust, the second innings of my life has become meaningful. I pray to the Almighty to continue serving until my last breath.

Associated with Prerna Seva Trust for the past 12 years. Retired as an Assistant Engineer from the Electricity Board. I was inspired to join the Trust after witnessing the dedicated service of my neighbor, Shri Vijay Kumar. Currently, I am involved in various service activities including food distribution, ambulance services, managing the Trust's kitchen, and office establishment-related tasks. My deep interest and commitment to service have kept me closely connected with the Trust. I have been deeply influenced by the service and guidance of Shri Shyam Kishore Shukla, one of the founding members and guardians of the Trust. My goal is to carry forward this mission of value-based service and inspire more people to walk this path.

After Retiring fromthe post of Assistant Manager /Engineer (Civil) Part-time service since 2014 and full-time association with the Trust from 2024 onwards. Currently, I am responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the office and kitchen building, managing social media platforms, promoting Trust activities, introducing innovations, and preparing projects under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In 1985, when my mother suffered from paralysis, I had the opportunity to stay for one month in Ward No. 5 (Medical) of Hamidia Hospital. During that time, I became aware of the challenges faced by admitted patients and their attendants. Since then, I have nurtured a deep sense of dedication toward serving in hospitals. I have many dreams for the future of the organization, which I am committed to fulfilling. I am dedicated to initiating new services by adopting modern technologies. It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of this Trust

An Indian Homemaker I have been associated with the Trust since the year 2011. I always had a deep desire to engage in service activities for my family and society, and the Trust became the perfect medium for it. Whatever responsibility was assigned to me by the Trust, I fulfilled it — whether it was food distribution, managing the kitchen, organizing and maintaining donated clothes, ensuring cleanliness, or distributing tea and breakfast in the morning. I was fortunate to receive love, affection, and guidance from all the founding members of the Trust — Late Shri Dayal Singh Saluja (Papaji), Shri Shyam Kishore Shukla (Babuji), and Late Shri Madan Lal Surana. Their dedication and compassion deeply touched me. I was especially moved by their commitment to serving the poor and ailing. With the support of my husband and family, I was able to dedicate time to the Trust. It brought a sense of completeness and simplicity to my life. I am committed to body donation and pray to God that I may continue serving the underprivileged for as long as I live.
