Prerna Sewa Trust Honors Women for Their Contributions to Social Service on International Women’s Day
Bhopal, March 8, 2025 – On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prerna Sewa Trust organized a heartfelt event to honor the dedicated women associated with the Trust who have played a vital role in its selfless service initiatives. For over three decades, the Trust has been actively serving impoverished and needy patients admitted to Hamidia Hospital, providing free meals, medicines, diagnostic support, wheelchairs, clothing, ambulance services, and other essential facilities.

The event celebrated the commitment, compassion, and tireless efforts of women who have gone above and beyond their personal responsibilities to serve society with sincerity and empathy. These women form the backbone of the Trust’s day-to-day humanitarian work.
The ceremony was graced by the Trust’s founder Mrs. Prakash Kaur Khanuja, President Mrs. Rashmi Baba, Secretary Mrs. Kamaldeep Saluja, Joint Secretary Mrs. Pinky Sahota, along with other trustees and several women from diverse backgrounds who are actively involved in social work.

Each honoree was presented with a floral bouquet and a commemorative memento as a token of appreciation for their invaluable service. These women have continually demonstrated how compassion, when combined with action, can bring meaningful change to countless lives.
In her address, Mrs. Prakash Kaur Khanuja stated, “The role of women in social service is not only admirable but also essential.
